Whenever you think of 2021 you think of the word “resilience.” Another year gone by with ongoing Covid-19 pandemic disruptions (Especially if you lived in Naarm/Melbourne!) that would’ve been a rollercoaster and crazy ride for many. A lot of us found ourselves unable to capture these significant milestones that occurred during lockdown – missed birthdays, housewarmings, new beginnings and the arrival of new babies to name a few. The importance of cherishing memories and milestones are now more important than ever.

Last Christmas I had the privilege of creating a special keepsake for my valued clients to encapsulate the essence of that year. My goal was to create a keepsake that could be treasured year after year, one that would embody the rich tapestry of your family history. I envisioned creating a beautiful memento that, when hung on your Christmas tree, would ignite conversations and storytelling among your loved ones. I aspired for this product to exude a personal touch, be completely one of a kind and hand-engraved by a skilled artisan.

The design revolved around two focal pieces: a gold-cut circular flat bauble and a pet bone bauble. The goal was to craft an enduring and indelible product – where the design would never be rubbed off or fade away. I procured locally sourced Australian gold baubles and with the utmost delicacy, precision, hand engraved each ornament.

Each of our keepsakes was thoughtfully accompanied by complementary items for gifting including a white satin ribbon for bauble hanging, a note card, an elegant Christmas wreath wax seal, a personalised name tag to your recipient and free shipping Australia wide.

In addition to these cherished baubles, we also introduced our reusable cotton bag, adorned with our signature tagline, “Keepsake memories forever”. Our client’s could use it to store your keepsake bauble or alternatively as a small Santa sack on the Christmas tree.

I felt so honoured to play a role in creating a lasting Christmas tradition for you and your family, one that can be cherished year after year. Some of these amazing memories included the welcoming of a new baby into the family, the first year as newlyweds, the first year my couple had moved in together and the first year my couples had adopted their furry best friend. These moments are so special as they provide an avenue to share with your story to commemorate the unforgettable memories of 2021.

For me personally, my keepsake holds profound meaning as I experienced the loss of my beloved fur baby, Louie. When we moved into our new home, I wanted to fill his memories inside our new place where I can see it every Christmas. To me, he will always have a place in my home and in my heart.
